because love mends every wound,
because love welcomes all who are ready to live a life of love

Who we are
A new Augustinian religious order in the Old Catholic tradition, welcoming and affirming, living the Rule of Saint Augustine under the protection of the Black Madonna of Perpetual Help.
People of every gender, marital status, and sexual orientation are welcome here.
Why we exist
To prove love, not merely profess it: in prayer, study, and common life, and in service to the poor, the marginalized, and all whom the world turns away. “Whatsoever you do unto the least of my children, you do unto me” (Matthew 25:40).
How we walk with you
There are three ways to belong:
- Ordained: deacons and priests of every gender.
- Consecrated: lay sisters and brothers living under vows.
- Companions: laypeople who carry our way of life into their own homes and work, without vows.
Discernment begins with a conversation and no commitment. Postulancy lets you explore the life before you promise anything, and vows come only when you and the community are ready.
If you wonder whether you are ready
Before he was a saint and a bishop, Augustine was restless and divided. He fathered a child outside marriage, chased after passing things, and prayed for chastity, “but not yet” (Confessions, Chapter 8). By any modern measure, the young Augustine would not have made the cut. Love mended him into the Church’s greatest teacher of grace. If love could do that with him, it can do it with you.
